Distortion Wave should scale with str too, just like Earth mage skills that deal physical dmg.

Distort Reality you can use for stun, sure it would deal more dmg with higher Int, but your highest dmg skill will be Phantom Strike that is not affected by Int.

Even if you start maxing Defense skills on epic, you can simply beat normal relying on Distortion Wave alone if you max it (no need for Int to be strong at this point), and you have other good skills, both defensive and offensive (you dont absolutely need to use that skill, but if you decide so - you may respec it later on epic).
